Created at the Manhattan Club, New York in 1874 for Lady Randolph Churchill (Winston's dear old mother). A complex and moreish balance of Canadian Club 12yo, Cinzano Rosso, a dash of Bitters & a maraschino cherry.
Mint Julep

Deriving from the Arabic word 'Julab', meaning rosewater, the Mint Julep's modern origins can be traced as far back as 1803. Fresh mint, Makers Mark Bourbon, a dash of bitters smashed & stirred till ice cold. Kentucky's favourite son.
Old Fashioned

Purported to have been created at the Pendennis Club in Lousvill, Kentucky, the Old Fashioned is subject to two variations, English (dry) & American (sweet). A liberal dose of Makers Mark Bourbon, a Bitters soaked sugar cube, orange zest (English) or orange slices & a maraschino cherry (American). Bourbon never tasted so good.
Sazerac

A New Orleans favourite, John B. Schiller's signature drink of the Sazerac Coffee House. Hennessy VS, Peychaud Bitters & a dash of sugar, shaken & strained into an Absinth coated glass, for a modern twist try mixture of Hennessy & Makers Mark.

Credited to Mac Garry of Buck's Club London, 1931, & said to be titled after and eccentric sidecar chauffeured army captain. The Sidecar encompasses a definitive balance of Hennessy VS, Cointreau & fresh lemon. Simplicity at its best.
